I decided it would be cool to create a machine that could produce some fluid to actually freeze and unfreeze in mid air. And I think it would be really neat to tinker around with acids. One day there were chunks of frozen carbon falling from above. They were full of acid. In the midst of all this mayhem, there was a battle brewing over the land of Ontario. There was a fierce new weapon being developed by aliens. They were making swords, that were hot during battle. On the other hand, the aliens were being pelted by ammo, which was cooled down to extreme frigidity. There was another force, which composed of people of various origins, including Japan, Russia, Iceland, Canada, and Alaska; they tried to rule the land where this chaos was enfolding. So they decided to try to change the weather itself. They created hail. They created acid rain. They created frozen gas and toxins, that would rain down, and melt to release all of themselves into the air. Yet the Russians, Alaskans, and the like, who were collectively called the Ruskans, were still frightened by being struck by ammo, which was cooled down to several tens of degrees. And they were also afraid of the hot swords being used. So, after a while, the war would keep looking up for the Ruskans nonetheless. Their ability to modify weather would trump all of their enemies. Yet they had an even more potent plan to end the war of wars. They decided to let go of their ability to create acid rain, hail, and thunder...and they turned to another ability. The ability to turn the air pressure over Ontario from 1 atmosphere, to one tenth of an atmosphere...over the time it would take a light signal to cross the distance between Canada, from Newfoundland all of the way to the Pacific. Over just a minute or so, their enemies had suffocated. The plants, however, they could not farewell. So one man set out into this battle, using a special made high speed camera to record a piece of what the warfare was like, in many tens of thousands of frames per second. The footage showed that the bullets would occasionally collide with the swords, causing really unusual effects.
The Ruskans continued their reign until a rebel group of aliens surprise attacked them from the east coast. The Ruskans responded by changing the pressure over the eastern Canadian shore to excessively low amount. This caused phenomenal bouts of wind, which literally swept the intruders off of their feet before any of them could die of "expansion" as they could expand their volume in response to the low air pressure. The low air pressure could have had a substantial effect on climate, however, that has never, ever been proven...
